Breaking News!!   Bus run for Immanuel
  • Over the last weeks and months we’ve been investigating the feasibility of running a bus service in our local area before and after school.
  • The great news is that this is indeed viable and will commence at the start of 2020. As much as possible it will be a ‘door to door’ service and the route will be from Immanuel through Willaston, Hewett, Hillier, Evanston Gardens, Evanston and back to Immanuel via Gawler East.
  • In the coming period we will refine a timetable and share it with families who have indicated a desire to utilise this service. On our website you’ll see a tab entitled ‘Bus Service’ and that’s where we will be updating information as we have it.

2020 CLASS PLACEMENTS
  • You will have seen the section in the newsletter last Friday inviting input from families around class placement for 2020.
  • It is important to note that these are not ‘teacher requests’, rather information around learning needs that will help us place students for maximum success. We will have a large number of staff changes at the end of this year for a variety of reasons and we won’t know our staffing/class and grade teachers until quite late in the term.
  • We ask that any information is passed on by email to darylt@ilsg.sa.edu.au by Friday 1 November (week 3) and that you understand that those emails will be shared with other staff.
  • If you are not returning to Immanuel in 2020 (other than moving into a secondary school) please be reminded that a terms notice is required.
2020 MUSIC TUITION
  • We have several music tutors who come to Immanuel each week and take students for one on one lessons (eg singing drums, guitar, piano, flute, violin & saxophone
  • If you want to register your child’s interest for lessons in 2020, by complete a form and return it to the office or Mr Hueppauff (Music teacher)
  • Click here for the form.
SUMMER UNIFORM & HATS  are to be worn in Term 4.
  • If your child is not wearing the correct/allocated school uniform for the day then we ask you to supply a note to the teacher
  • Students need to wear HATS when playing at recess & lunch, and during outside lesson time.
NO HAT NO PLAY!  Please ensure HATS are clearly named.    If you need to purchase a new HAT please send $10 into the office with your child’s name.
