Week 8 Term2

Well, we are caught right up in the middle of the learning now that we are near the halfway mark.  With two weeks to the mid year bye, the students have a couple hefty assignments to knock over.

  1. The Stepahanie Alexander Kitchen Garden restaurant
  2. Spirituality Art Work
  3. Experiment Designing and Implementing Task (in groups)
You may wish to talk to your child about one or all of these to see how they are tracking.

This week, after a two week hiatus, spelling is back.

Cabaret Evening - the Senior Unit was well represented. Fantastic to see so many kiddies get up on stage and show their musical/dance talents. Well done students and well done parents for supporting the arts and your children.

Week 6, Term 2

Good afternoon everyone,

Today we experienced a little of what life might be like in a refugee camp.  What if? Remember to ask your child about their day.  We are so grateful for the place where are and the time we have.

There is no spelling list this week. Every week we love to see each student reach 1000 points in Mathletics and at least 15 minutes of reading each night. This week students have an assignment due Friday that can be worked on for UOI if they would like to.

Gardening and Kitchen this week is back to normal! Gardening Tuesday, 9am 6E and 10am 6S.
We would love one or two helpers for each class in the Kitchen this week if possible.
