3 week mid year holiday break for students

Sunday, March 31, 2019

Welcome to Week 10 Monday memos

We are currently inquiring into advertising and the persuasive techniques used. Students
this week are presenting orals on techniques used in television commercials that they have
chosen. We look forward to hearing their analysis.

Speaking of persuasion... How can we get your camp consent forms back on time? Maybe
by asking a rhetorical question to get families thinking about it.

Would your child like to remember their final year of primary school? Would they like to
remember all the names of the people who graduated in the same year? Would they like to
walk away with a wearable momento of the year? Well we have the answer for you...
introducing the Year 6 graduate polo shirts

If you order within the next 32 minutes, you will also receive the graduation steak knives for
free. That's right, for free! (Only while stocks last)

A letter explaining the Graduate Polo Shirt procedure will be coming later this week.

Monday Memos Week 9 Term 1

Blink and you would have missed it. Well, thats what the last 8 weeks have felt like. Now
with just three weeks to go it’s not only a push towards the holidays but also a push towards
being prepared and ready for camp.

A Canberra Camp note will be on its way soon to give everyone the information they need.
A couple key things in which you may wish to know is that we will be joined on camp by Mrs
Amundsen and Mrs Sharp as parent volunteers. We would also like to briefly bring to your
attention that while on camp there will be moments when students are expected to wear
their formal uniform. More details will follow soon.

Also, we are looking into the process of getting graduate tops organised. if everything falls
into place we will aim to collect the sport uniform tops from you at the end of this term and
return them to you after camp. This would provide plenty of time for them to be printed.

Monday Memos Week 8 Term 1

Welcome to anew week of fun and frivolity in the Senior Unit. Well, not quite, how about we say another week of dotting the i and crossing the t.

Mathletics - each student has a Mathletics account and it is a valuable program to assist and consolidate mathematical concepts and knowledge. We would love for students to get a minimum of 1000 points per week. Last week just gone we had 10 mathematical champions successfully do this. Well done to those 10. Students who do achieve that goal receive awards that we will post to their Seesaw accounts.

Speaking of Seesaw accounts, if you are not familiar with the account and or have never signed in as a parent, come by and see us so that we can get this sorted.  The Seesaw account is an online portfolio of your students learning. It gives us the opportunity to share the learning online so you can view work products, reflections or other school related tasks from anywhere you have connectivity.
