Harnessing energy models
Thanks for the wonderful effort in supporting your child to create models that harness energy! We were amazed at the thought and detail many students put into their work and commend everyone for their commitment.

Concert costumes
Hopefully you have booked your tickets to come to the Upper Primary School Concert. Check emails and notes home for information regarding costumes.

Excursion
Next week Thursday September 5th we are going to The Food Forest as a tuning in experience for this years Exhibition. Look for a form to return by Friday this week.

Our Generation
A group of dedicated journalists from Year 6 are excited to announce that a regular newsletter called Our Generation will appear as hard copy fortnightly with the school newsletter and to the side of the Senior Unit blog under notes that should have gone home.
Congratulations to those involved and we look forward to reading your updates.

Bike Ed- Term 4
A letter will come out with more detail later but until then consider if you can send your bike in and check it is in a safe working condition.

ThinkUKnow Cyber Safety Education Program for parents / caregivers
TONIGHT - Monday 26 August at 7pm in Taikondi  (approx. till 8pm)
ALL WELCOME
  • This parent information session will cover issues relating to children and young peoples’ privacy and security online.  It will provide an insight into the devices young people are using including popular websites, apps and social networking sites.
  • Students can attend with their parents

Student Photo Day Wednesday 28 August
  • If you haven’t yet returned the envelope please do so tomorrow (or Weds latest),  even if you are not placing an order
  • Family envelopes for sibling group photos available in the office
  • What to wear:  Year 2-6 students will need to wear their full formal winter uniform including the green jumper.   Foundation & year 1 students will wear their sports uniform including the rugby jumper
  • If your child is absent Weds the photographers will be a back on Monday 9 Sept to take any individual photos.

Father’s Day Stall Thursday 29 August
  • Each class will go shopping & can buy a gift for dad, grandpa or that special person
  • Gifts range from $1 to $5 – please bring your small change

  • Friday 30 August 9am with Mr Lord’s Year 2 students – all welcome to attend

P&F Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings Saturday 31 August
  • A great fundraising opportunity for Immanuel but we need some helpers during the day to cook and serve.

ICAS TESTING
  • Digital Technologies and Science Tests will be held next week for those registered students

iGOSH
October School Holiday Care
  • The PROGRAM will go home with students this Friday. 
  • Online bookings open from 3pm Friday 30 August and close Friday 20 September 9am. 
  • Some of the days are capped so please get in early.
  • Accounts will need to be below $500 to access the upcoming holiday care, and the last vac care account should have also been paid. Your help with this is appreciated.
